Nightly Rituals: Arielle Marie McFadden

Arielle's look here!
I teach most nights, and am up before, or with the sun the next day. So my nightly rituals are pretty basic. If I happen to have the night off, I love to get on my mat in a yoga class or at Hot Pilates and just sweat. I walk my dog as soon as I come home: which is a nice way to disconnect from the day. Then I take a shower, because my classes are quite the work out! Once that's done with, I like to sit and write in my journal about my day. It doesn't have to be a lot. I just like unloading everything from my mind that happened onto paper, as well as my feelings about the things that did or didn't happen. If I have a busy day the next day, or any other thoughts or anxieties I'll write those down too. This gives me a clear mind so that I can fall asleep more quickly, and sleep much more soundly. Then there's a little snuggle sesh that goes down with the pug, and a quick end of day call with my boyfriend so we can connect, tell one another about our days, and just be cute before I finally hit the lights and lay down.
