What does Self Love mean to you?
When I started to practice Yoga I was 29 and I began to drink water I was more mindful about sleeping and what I ate because I wanted to make sure to be in optimum physical and mindset for my practice. My practice also made me more feminine and my joy, sweetness and happiness came back more than ever before. The relationships I had with people were much healthier and stronger. I began to teach Yoga at 33 and now that I am 37 I feel more in tune with my body than ever before mostly because of the mind-body spirit connection. I also implement Spin with Yoga and nothing has changed my body more than this combination. Look good feel good inside outside!!
Do you think Self Love is important?
Self love is so important because how you actually feel towards yourself is exactly how others will feel and look at you. I am firm believer in Law of Attraction. Activewear has become a huge part of a healthier happier lifestyle adding to the expression of who you are from the inside out.
What do you think is the most common reason for people not loving themselves?
I think most women unfortunately set their worth based off who they are with or not with, what their size is, what label they wear etc... instead of owning who they are and the same clothing would translate different if they were in love or in tune with themselves.
When you're having a bad day, feeling bloated or feeling like you’re missing your glow - how do you get back on track?
When I am feeling bloated, overwhelmed or tired I usually get off the radar and just take it easy and not overextend myself a little rest and alone time help me bounce back
Do you have a favorite thing you do to pamper yourself?
Sometimes I drive to the beach solo go for a walk, go shopping, or get a massage mani-pedi
What's your favourite thing about your body?
I would say right at this moment I have been loving my back muscles. I have been doing a lot of photoshoots and out of the pics I have been feeling great about my back and I always get commented on my spin and yoga booty....especially in my tights-I also really have to say that overall core strength has really affected and helped me being in my power on and off the mat like never before- my female clients have been taking pics of it to use as their inspiration
Do you have a Self Love mantra or tip you can share with us?
I feel my best :
when I do things without obligation or force
when I am expressing myself with complete freedom verbal or what I wear
when I am healthy
when I have sufficient sleep
when I am in my truth
when I am smiling
