3 Simple neck stretches

So you read our blog on the importance of stretching, and now you’re ready to get started? Well, here are 3 simple neck stretches to help you release neck tension.

  1. Sit comfortably with your shoulders relaxed, turn your head to the right shoulder as far as is comfortable. Hold for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.
  1. Sit comfortably with your shoulders relaxed. Tilt your right ear down towards your right shoulder and allow the muscles on the left side to release. You should feel a stretch on the left side of the neck. Hold for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.
  1. Sit comfortably with your shoulders relaxed. Drop the chin towards the chest and allow the back of the neck to lengthen. Hold for 30 seconds.
